Originated in 2017, my photo series ConTEXTnaTURE zeroes in on the beauty of leaf structure, surface and geometry, but portrays this beauty in sepia tones, conveying nostalgia for a loss of connection to nature in contemporary life. I have recently added a few new images to the series and have been experimenting with a larger range of sepia tones, warmer ones.
These are large files, so shown here only as thumbnails. In reality, the images are square and at ideal quality at 12×12 inches.
