I always thought that Puce was a greenish-yellow color. I guess I had it confused with Chartreuse! As a photographer and an artist I strive to stay up to date on my colors, so shame on me.
To reinforce my memory, here are two images that include what I consider to be Puce (the color of dried blood!). These are smartphone captures, so not the best quality. Perhaps I’ll come back and add more Puce images soon, of a better quality!
