One Artist Amidst Many

I follow the RagTag daily prompt site on WordPress and today’s word, Amidst, led me to a reflection on the life of a striving artist in a large city like mine.

While for now, I am a part-time artist, I am hoping to develop my creativity into more of a career than a hobby.  I am grateful to live in New York City, a place with many opportunities for emerging artists.  I will share some of these below in photos…

However, I am keenly aware through these shows, that I am one admidst so many.  Nevertheless, I carry on, seeking that one woman or small group exhibition.

Thanks to RagTag for leading me down this reflective road and to all of the galleries and curators that have provided me exhibition oppportunities so far!
